The Bun Letters: Week 32 Year 2

Oh my baby,

You were on cloud 9 this week because THE Aubrey was coming to town!

First we met up with the Machovina/Harton gang. It was rainy and we had to walk for a while downtown but we made it fun! Actually I slipped and fell while holding you! I was so embarrassed but very proud of you for not getting upset. It happened in sort of slow motion. We went to Dick's Last Resort for some dinner and while I think you ultimately had fun, you never really let on! It was late and you hung in there like a champ!

You could hardly sleep that night and were so very excited to see Aubs! When she finally showed up I was surprised to see you jump right into things! (Instead of needing a warming up time)

We hit the ground running and started with the TN Arts & Crafts Fair with the family and had so much!

This was such a precious moment loving on your daddy

Then you did the most amazing thing. You took my hand and led me through tons of people, sitting on blankets and watching music and marched us up the the front row! You wanted to go to the stage but I sat back to watch you and you came back! I was blown away by your bravery! You really liked this artist! His name is Jonathon Jackson and he is also on the show Nashville!

That tongue is indicative to your being mischievous!

Later that night you had a dance party with Aubs & "the boys" while I went with "the girls" to see a concert!

We all can't wait for you both to be a little older and you can join us to see the next "big star"!

The next morning we all met to have breakfast but it took too long so it just ended up being the 6 of us! Then we went to the zoo! And yes you wore that dress all three days of the weekend! You probably would wear if everyday if you could!

You were super brave with the tortoises this time! You were loving it!

I don't know if it was the weekend, being tired or just being two but you came home 2 days in a row with a "straight face" instead of a smiley face!

One day you were being mischievous during nap time and the other you wouldn't participate in group lessons!
