It has been full of splendor & joy! We are so incredibly blessed! We have wonderful friends, an amazing family and we have you!
The Miller Christmas Eve theme this year was "Granddaughters" and the whole night was about the two of you! We all had matching aprons and helped in the kitchen all day! We made Chex mix, finished cookies, iced a cake, made potatoes and flubber!! We didn't eat the flubber of course and you loved the process up to the point you had to get your hands dirty! Then we opened your Christmas Eve boxes, made ornaments, pranced around in your matching pjs, opened presenters, put food out for Santa and the reindeers, released lanterns in Uncle Chuck's memory, read some books and snuggled in for a good night's rest!
And sure enough Santa came and brought us lots of presents!! We must have been very good this year!
Your reaction to the gifts this year has been hilarious! You get so excited! You almost shake! If it's something Frozen you scream "oh Elsa, Anna"!!! You have loved all of your gifts and gravitate to them equally and in rotation! Almost! You saw the rocking horse first and his sounds delight you so! You want very badly to sit in the baby bed! That was your aunt Mindy's baby bed! It's a special heirloom that we will be sure to keep in the family! A real American Girl Bitty Baby! Homemade Frozen bedding for her too! An Elsa & Anna doll! A grocery cart and fabric groceries! A fun talking picnic basket! A retro record player music box! Lots of clothes and some books! A Frozen blanket! College money! Fuzzy kitty slippers! And you and I got matching Converse tennis shoes! We were so busy opening presents that I didn't take as many pictures as i would have liked but it was magical! There was so much stuff and so much going on! It was a little overwhelming at times but you would just sit back and watch until you were ready to go again!
The funny thing was that after we opened all of those gifts, all the two of you wanted to play with was a cardboard box! You two had a ball in that thing!!
The trip to New York was very smooth and before we left we had some Holiday fun! We decorated cookies with some girl friends!
And we made our (2nd) annual trip to Jellystone to see the lights and Santa! We took the Janiszewskis with us this time and it was so much fun!
I don't want the holidays to end but I am looking forward to the new year and you'll be two soon and we have so much in store for our future! Thanks for making it so bright!
