Week 48 Year 1

RĂ©me,
Today you woke up bigger, taller and had more words to say and clearer! How is that possible? To happen over night is seems! As I watch you and listen to you, I am amazed at how time has gone by so quickly and how so much has changed in a year!

This was just last January! You weren't even walking yet!

Now look at you! Talking, walking, reasoning and negotiating!

Yes, I said negotiating! We were at lunch with the Janiszewskis and you offered Mollie a trade for her phone for yours! It was quite funny!

The weather has been nicer lately and we have had a chance to venture outside! We went to the zoo and had a playdate with Avery! You too are hilarious together.

Stella is home!! She is doing so much better! This makes us all so happy!

You've also discovered the joys of dressing up!! You decided to put your Frozen PJs on your Sofia doll and I reminded you about your matching dresses that came with you Elsa & Anna dolls and you immediately wanted to put them on! It was so sweet! You wore them to dinner and didn't want to take them off! Then on Saturday your dad picked out a Sofia one that is also a nightgown and that's what you've worn ever since! I have to me honest, I love this phase and hope it lasts!!

I love you my little princess,
Momma

Week 47 Year 1

Hey sweet girl,

You did more growing this week! A lot more! You have started to put together many words in complete sentences! It has taken me a while to figure out what you're saying though!

It sounds like "gee gah cacker" but I'm pretty sure you're saying "here you go"
"Gag gee goo" is thank you!
You clearly say "come on" when you want me to go somewhere with you, then "ah ha sit chair" for "have a seat in the chair"! You love having a tea party and you are maticulous on who sits where and what we all have!

For the longest time you'd say "amish" when we'd read your farm book and your dad would laugh and say "well I guess they might be Amish" then one day you pointed to an animal book and said "Amish" oh ok..."Amish" is "animals"!!

You like to sleep with several of your animals and they all have to be accounted for and in the right spot and you snuggle with Sofia! Big bear, little bear, moo, meow, Chica, fat cat, penguin and shark! Oh and Sofia has to have her "blankie" and you do too! You enjoy throwing them all out of your crib in the morning!
"Cac-con" is popcorn! And you love it!
You also say, "set set go" then thrown something! A ball, a toy, Sofia!
We "mauch" (march) around the living room playing instruments often! So fun!
I'm not kidding when I say you can practically count to 10!! I'm serious! you may skip a number but for the most part you count!
Your teachers brag about how well you know your colors but I've noticed that you just say everything is "geen"! You'll get there!
I think it bums you out sometimes when I quiz you. Especially during tea time! You get frustrated! I know you know but it's like you're refusing to participate because it's tea time and not quiz time!

This past weekend we took you to see Elsa & Anna at a local Chick Filet and beforehand we went to Bryn's birthday party. So I had you wear this cute outfit with a horse for the party but wasn't really thinking about the princess encounter afterwards. When we gut there all of the little kids were decked out in Frozen gear and you would run up to them and point at there shirt, costume it shoes and say, "Elsa! Anna!" and then would look down and see that horse on your shirt and would get so sad! At one point you just sat down and stared crying! I felt so bad!! So daddy went to the store to get you a Frozen a shirt!! You were so happy!! You couldn't get it on fast enough! You loved seeing Elsa & Anna! It was a perfect night!

This has been a rough week because our sweet Stella is sick. She started having seizures on Wednesday and has been in the hospital since! We are very concerned but we see a neurologist on Monday and we'll know more!

We sure do hope she gets better soon!

I love you baby girl,
Momma

Week 46 Year 1

Oh  baby,

I just don't know what to say right now. Every day...you are different. Every day, you grow. Every day you are becoming a two year old.

This is hard for me to handle. It's a thing of beauty. It's a thing of mystery but a "thing of life"...

Love,
Momma
