Week 35 Year 2

Reme Lynn,

I returned from my business trip determined to spend every second I could with you! I help you a little tighter, I kissed you a little more and we giggled a lot!

It's H week and you had a Hat day!

First official school picture! Yes please!

When I arrived home on Friday we went to visit baby Beckett Hilley! He was just a few hours fresh and you weren't having it! No way, no how was I going to get to hold that baby! That's okay...I was enjoying holding you! I secretly love that you're jealous of other snuggles! Guess it's not really a secret then, huh?

On Saturday we had gymnastics and you did a GREAT job! You were very active and are really getting the hang of it!

Then we went to the 1st Annual Nash Fab 5 Fall Festival! It's our Village and CC put on one heck of a party complete with bouncy house, leave piles, games, prizes, swings, photo booth and s'mores by the fire!

Sunday we decided to check out Lucky Ladd's! Once again you were a happy girl! Animals, pony rides, swings, slides, hay rides, pumpkins and more!

As much as I don't like the cold weather, fall is always a welcomed season! So many pleasures come with it!

This week, daddy has had to work early so I have had the pleasure of getting you ready. On Wednesday you blew me away. As we were getting dressed you declared, "I want to go to school!" What a declaration! That's great! Then you said, "I want to walk by myself". Okay, we can do that too! Normally when I get you ready in the morning, you won't let me brush your hair or spruce it up and today I asked if you wanted pigtails and you said YES!! Wait, what? So my well over 2 1/2 year old sweet girl, put on her backpack with her pigtails and walked to her classroom "all by herself"!

You teachers were even shocked to see you "spruced" up! They later sent me this pic of you at the library!

Now, not everyday is this easy but I can't help but to relish these moments! You are growing so very quickly! People say it all the time...but until you step back and live it...it doesn't mean the same thing!

Stay sweet,
Mommy
