Week 21 Year 2

My sweet girl,

Life seems so much slower lately. Probably just because the excitement of a vacation is over and the routine has settled in!

We had a nice visit with an old friend on Saturday. We met up with your friend from Una Day Care, Bryn and her mom Hana! We went to Little Treasures Playhouse! It was SO cute! (Lots of ideas for bday #3) You two play well together for the most part. After about 2 hours of playing we decided to have some lunch! It was a lovely afternoon!

We decided to make a surprise visit to Jaime's house on the way home and spent a an our or so in the pool! Then you literally passed out 2 seconds after we go in the car! Popcorn snack in hand! You were wiped out!

We spent the rest of the night playing with your new obsession! PLAY DOH! Emma gave you some as a birthday party favor and you love it! To be honest, we LOVE it too and LOVE that you LOVE it! So we may or may not (MAY) have gotten you new "sets"! I kid you not, some mornings it is the first word out of your mouth!

You had another magician visit school this week! He made balloon animals! It will be interesting to see how things go with the "fun summer" activities aren't there anymore!

I will explain more later but I have discovered a "thing" called the Highly Sensitive Child and learning more about it has helped us tremendously!

We give you  a "countdown" and "play by play" each morning/afternoon/night and it has really helped with drop offs, dinner and bedtime! So thankful for this insight! I really think it has helped all of us!

Yep, you guessed it...more PLAY DOH!
