Week 33 Year 1

Hello baby doll,

What an exciting week! You have finally been feeling better and seem yourself again, although you STILL have a bit of a cough and runny nose! At least it's not a green runny nose! It would not surprise me if you had allergies but I guess we'll find out!

It was FINALLY time for Frozen ON ICE! Oh my goodness we have been so excited for this day! You like the movie but we listen to the soundtrack more and you request that I sing "Let it Go" every night as we rock a bit before you go to bed! It was super fun! Lots of little girls dressed as Elsa and Anna, lots of excitement and music and the show was quite magical! The funny thing is that you usually stop watching the movie right about the time Anna finally gets to the castle and you stopped watching the ice show at almost the exact  same place! But you just chilled out and people watched and played in our row. You didn't make a big fuss or throw a fit and then when Mickey & his friends came back you were once again enthralled with the action!

Then on Sunday we went to the Hermitage Fall Festival. It was a lovely day! We met the Janiszewski's  & Schular's and played in the leaves, painted pumpkins, played with musical instruments, listened to some live music and walked around looking at lots of booths with a variety of arts and crafts!

And as if that weren't enough on Wednesday we went on your first official school field trip! We went to Lucky Ladd's Farm. We've been there before but there is always something new to see and fun to do. It was nice to get to know some of your classmates and their parents. We went on a hayride, played on the swings, corn box and big slide, had lunch, picked out a pumpkin and pet the animals! You were wiped out when it was all over! We all were!

This is apparently your BFF in class. Her name is Avery and she's a couple of months younger than you.

Near impossible to get you all together and looking in the same place at the same time but I think this one is pretty close! You sat up at the top all by yourself and just patiently waited for us to take pictures. I think you mostly enjoyed watching everyone act so silly!

And she's out!

So you've picked up this thing where you point and say "da" ALL the time! It would be fine if you just said it in your normal sweet voice but I think you're mimicking your friend Avery and you do it in this high pitched way and I have to be honest it is kind of annoying. I feel like you're vocabulary has digressed a little. You know lots of words and normally are pretty well spoken but now you just say, "da, da, da, da". Ugh! I'm looking forward to passing of the phase. I mean, you're adorable bottom like but that squealing "da" grates on my nerves sometimes. So, let's move on from that one! Okay?! (Kiss, kiss)

I love you baby,
Da Momma
