I feel like this has been the longest week! We have done a lot in the past seven days! We finished our trip to Texas on Friday but first we spent a day with just us and the Morris clan. We took some family photos, made a delicious dinner and just hung out. It was so nice to be all together. You really enjoyed being with your Granddad! That makes me so very happy!
Then on Friday we drove ALL the WAY back to Nashville!!! 12 hours in the car! TWELVE!!! Nice work kiddo! You were awake the majority of the time too. We played with your flashcards, read some books and watched some Baby Einstein!
We couldn't wait for your Gmomma to get here on Sunday! Gpops came too! It was too quick of a visit but we made the best of our time! We went grocery shopping, went to the mall and played a lot!
Your spunky personality gets spunkier and spunkier every day! It's so fascinating. You have such a strong will and I look forward to the day that you can tell me (and others) what's on your mind. I can tell you have a lot to say with great conviction! You were playing in the kids area while we were at the mall and crawled over to the wall puzzle thing where a little boy about 2 years old was playing. You pulled your self up and decided to play with the puzzle as well but this little boy did not like that and kept pushing your hand away and saying "no baby". Well you let him have it! You pushed him back and said with a very strong tone "da, da, da, da, da, daaaa"! He didn't know what to think. I on the other hand thought that was hilarious! You are not going to be a push over! When I told your teacher about it she just laughed and said, yep that's Reme Lynn alright. She's feisty!
This little girl came over and you guys just stared at each other for about 3 minutes and then all of a sudden she took both hands and squeezed your cheeks and walked away! So funny!
You want desperately to run and walk and play with the bigger kids! Take your time my love! You'll get there before you know it! Here you are drinking with a straw! Such a big girl already!
Then it was our first New Year's Eve together! We had the most perfect evening! We got some lobsters (you had macaroni & cheese) and spent the night cooking, jamming out to some good house music, eating and dancing! The evening couldn't not have been better! We all had a great time!
This has been the most amazing, magical and incredible year! We are all so blessed. I hope and pray that God will continue to bless our little family and that we continue to grow mentally, physically and spiritually.
Today, New Year's Day was extremely special as well! Today we had brunch with our very special group of friends (The Ten) to find out the gender of Auntie CC's baby! It's a boy!!! Everything was so beautiful. Right down to the silverware! We are so excited for the Corams and we can't wait to meet their new little boy! You had fun playing with Harrison & Averie too! You and Harrison share a love for books and it was sweet to watch the two of you "reading" together today!
It just gets better and better!!!
I love you so very much,
Mommy
So glad your trip was a success! I love that she let the little boy in the play area have it. Great story!! Love you all to pieces and so happy you got to spend NYE together just the three of you. <3
